William Campfield Turner (1810-1852) was an officer in the United States Navy serving in the Anglo-American War of 1812.
Family
William C. Turner was the son of Dr. William Turner (1775-1837) and Mehitable Foster Turner (1780-1853). Based on family history, he was injured in childhood by a careless nurse, and was permanently disabled as a result.
Death
He died at the relatively young age of 42 and was buried in the Turner family plot in Newport, Rhode Island, United States.
